3K Mold design is committed to design injection molds to the satisfaction of it`s customers at a reasonable price and timely manner. We design a variety of plastic and die cast injection molds.
We utilize the current version of Unigraphics, to design in the 2D and/or 3D environment per customer specifications. Depending on customer preferences we solid model the entire mold or the more complex parts of the molds for CNC machining. Cavity & core work however is always solid modeled to insure the mechanical and functional integrity of the mold. Detailed drawings are then generated to aid in the manufacturing of the mold.
We are able to design complex injection molds, such as hot runner unscrewing molds, stack molds, insert molds and more in order to satisfy cost and delivery constraints.
