Introduction

The MCD-V8 Under Vehicle Inspection System is a new type video camera designed for security professionals for the inspection of a vehicles undercarriage. The system was created to provide a method to quickly and easily visualize the entire underside of a vehicle. Incorporating 4 high-resolution color video cameras with a fully integrated illumination system this system provides the user with a clear view in any lighting condition, day or night. The system can be used with the color LCD display attached for efficient one hand operation allowing the officer to cover his weapon in high-risk searches, while operational flexibity is maximized by the display’s ability to detach. With the display detached, the operator is free to move the display to increase comfort or optimize viewing. With optional display extension cables, the display can be used over 30’ away from the probe, while the form fitted sunshield enhances display viewing in bright sunlight conditions.
