W6Mo5Cr4V2 is a universal high speed tool steel. The steel has fine and uniform carbide, high toughness, and good thermoplastic. Compared with W18Cr4V, W6Mo5Cr4V2 high speed tool steel have much better toughness, wear resistance and thermoplastic, and its hardness, red hardness and hot hardness are more or less the same with W18Cr4V. Therefore, in addition to make all sorts of general tool, it can also produce large and thermoplastic forming cutters. For its high toughness and good abrasion resistance, it can make wear resistance parts under high load, such as cold extrusion die, and at the same time, you should reduce the quenching temperature to meet the requirements of strength and toughness.
