A more effective haptic effect can be produced by generating an acceleration and a displacement with a stronger stimulus. These accelerations and displacements can be seen in the "phase portraits" shown in this article. Phase diagrams can be generated after successful integration of haptic technology into haptic interface devices through electromechanical methods.
