  Wavecom Q24plus Q24PL001 GSM GPRS module Product Description   Q24PL001 is a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) GSM modem. It supports GPRS class 10 and TCP/IP protocol stack. RS232 is the main interface; besides there are audio interface and 2GPIO. The main advantage of this model is the function of downloading the user-defined software developed in the OpenAT environment (C++ programming language).
This function considerably extends modemfunctionality, and thereby, simplifies overall architecture of the system to be developed. Modem is controlled by a standard set of AT-commands and an embedded program. Q24PL001 is intended for use in telemechanic and telemetering systems, security and alarm systems, as well as in other systems in which wireless data transmission is required.
