Smoke Warning Detector Tester for Fire Alarm Sensor System Features: Cut the paper stripe at the end of fhis manual, and tape it on the mounting position of the wall for mounting screws Drill pilot hole in centre of marking in mounting surface Insert the plastic screw anchor into the hole (stuccs or brick) wooden wall is not required Insert and tighten mounting screws in pilot holes until within about 1/8" from the mounting screws Hold the smoke detector against the wall and align the mounting hole of smoke detector to the screws Specifications: Locate the first Smoke Alarm in the immediate area of the bedrooms. Try to protect the exit path as the bedrooms are usually farthest from an exit Install another Smoke Alarm near your main escape route to be sure you can get out safely Install additional Smoke Alarm on each occupied fine house Locate a Smoke Alarm in every room where a smoker sleeps or where electrical appliances are operated Install additional Smoke Alarm to protect any stairway as stairway act like chimneys for smoke and heat Install Smoke Alarm in hallways at a distance no greater than 13 feet (4meters) from the farthest wall and no greater than 26 feet(8 meters) from the next detector When mounting Smoke Alarm on a wall,use an inside wall with the Smoke Alarm at a maximum of 12"(30, 48cm) below the ceiling and at least 2 feet (60.96cm) from any corner When mounting Smoke Alarm on the ceiling, locate it at a minimum of 6"(1524 cm)from the side wall and 2 feet (60.96cm) from any corner
