The light output of the led lamps is 1000 lumens which is equivalent to the light output of a 100 Watt Incandescent light bulb so retrofitting these lamps will not reduce the amount light in a room. The silver ceramic base is designed to be aesthetically pleasing whilst also being efficient, reducing the amount of heat given off by the lamps in comparison to the incandescents of old; leading to the 50,000 hours maintenance free expected life.
