The SON8010U is a Telecom grade IEEE802.3ah based GEPON ONU (Optical Network Unit). It provides 1*1.25G EPON Uplink SC port, and 1*10/100Base-Tx + 1*10/100/1000Base-Tx LAN ports. Its GEPON uplink provides a high bandwidth input of 1.25Gbps. Its 10/100Base-Tx LAN port can be connected to a WiFi Router for Home networking services, and its Gigabit LAN port can be connected to an IPTV box for Home TV service. Its 2 LAN ports can enable ISPs deploy both Internet and IPTV services in FTTH and FTTO networks.
