The CDLC impulse current generator is featured by fan-shaped structure and flexible combination of inductance and capacitance. It is mainly used to test the residual voltage and high current withstanding property of valve disc, arrestor and SPDs. It is also used for routine test of HV apparatus manufacturers.

Each unit consists of 2 horizontal capacitors laid on the frame, one end of the capacitor is connected to a multi-tap inductor; 2-6 units are laid around the sphere gap in C pattern; inductors can be adjusted according to wave form and test object resistive during tests |
