POM Plastic Tubes and rod

I. PP Description

PP looks like PE, but PP is more transparent, lighter. PP is flammable. PP own low water absorption, low gas permeability. PP has good mechanical properties, the tensile strength and yielding strength are better than PE, PS and ABS. PP resists stress cracking and easy to weld, but low notched impact strength, the finished parts shall avoid sharp corners and notches. The temperature ranges between +5℃ and 100℃.

II. PP Characteristics:

7. Food safe

Disadvantages:

1. Low oxidation resistance

2. Low abrasion resistance

3. Easy to brittle at low temperature

4. HF-welding not possible

5. Difficult to varnish and glue

6. No weather resistance

III. PP Applications

1. Pipeline, medical equipment , stewing endurance tableware, food packaging,

2. Galvanize tank, acid-proof and alkali resistance containers, spraying loading frame.

3. Home appliances shell, wire and cable etc.

POM Acetal is renowned  for  outstanding  hardness, machanical strength  and rigidity. Therefore, this polyacetal material is the ideal  substiyute for copper, coated zinc,steeland other metallic materials.This engineering thermoplastic has smooth and gloss surface,and is easy to burn.When this plastic material burns,the upper flame is in yellow and the bottom is in blue,generating irritant formaldehyde  flavor and fishlike smell.

   6. Remarkable creep resistance and returns back to original  shape in a fast manner when external forces a          are withdrew.

1.Machinery industry:gear,roller,bearing ring,connecting rod and impeller blade.

2.Vehicle:valve body for water tank,gear housing and covering plate for radiator.

3.Electronics:housing for electric-powered tool,parts for TV and fax machine.

4.Other:toy,parts for window and door.
