The 3x1 device is a 3-port HL/HDMI dual mode switcher

You can connect 2 HDMI/MHL source devices to HDMI inputs and one MHL device (mobile phone/Pad) to MHL input, and switches easily between the three MHL/HDMI sources

The switcher can also be placed at the end of a long HDMI cable to regenerate the HDMI signal
