The 3x1 device is a 3-port MHL/HDMI dual-mode

You can connect 2 HDMI/MHL source devices to HDMI input and one MHL device (mobile phone/pad) to MHL input and switches easily between the three MHL/HDMI sources

The switcher can also be placed at the end of a long HDMI cable to regenerate the HDMI signal
