Adapter was specifically designed to provide 5.25V not 5V, butwe still call it 5V USB adapter

We did this on purpose to solve problem that occurs often withUSB powered gadgets: they draw so much current than resistance ofcable causes voltage drop, so instead of 5V, device sees 4.75V

To avoid this problem, we made adapter 5.25V

Because USB power specification allows up to 5.25V, and itssafe for all 5V electronics, and has benefit of making up for anyloss due to thin USB cables

Basically, customer's can use it where ever USB 5V power isneeded, with no risk of damage, and it will happily work at fullcurrent range, no matter what cable customer's use

Adapter doesn't have cable, instead there is USB A type port onbottom, where customers can plug any USB cable in

Data lines have resistors on them, to match what is inside ofan Apple iPhone type charger, and we tested this adaptersuccessfully with an iPhone 4 so it ought to work with anythingthat can charge with an adapter for iPhone

Adapter is great for use with an Arduino, Raspberry Pi, teensyand NETduino

Also nice with our Lithium-polymer battery chargers, socustomer's can just carry USB cable
