Evaporator pressure regulators are used to maintain a constant evaporating pressure and hence a constant evaporator temperature; Plus protection against too low an evaporating pressure since the regulator closes when the pressure in the evaporator alls below the setting. Located in the suction line at the evaporator outlet.
