Product Description
Product Description
OnAccess200X is a 2U 19" rack-mount 17-blade managed media converter chassis. The system can host a variety of FirstMile's media converter cards which are interchangeable and hot-swappable. These converter cards can be stand-alone, multi-port, modular or for Fast & Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

The OnAccess 200x media converter system extends the network distance by adding fiber and enabling the connection of disparate cabling types in a network. Network segments may also operate at different speeds, and media converters can be used to convert between one speed and another. Typically, media converters are used to connect copper and fiber-optic cabling that coexist in a network.
OnAccess 200x provides remote loopback and complies with in-band IEEE802.3ah, IEEE802.1ag, ITU-T Y.1731, TS-1000. OnAccess 200x also supports FirstMile's proprietary Ethernet packet based OAM capabilities to manage subscriber access network from carrier center side to terminal side. The embedded management software allows administrators to easily configure features, monitor performance, and troubleshoot the system using command line interface, standard Web browser and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) based network management platforms.
The advanced carrier-grade features, such as Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/X, Link Fault Pass-Through (LFP), Remote Fault Detection (RFD) and Dying Gasp Alarm, enable more efficient troubleshooting and less on-site maintenance.
OnAccess 200x can be applied in FTTx and enterprise networks, including Greenfield and existing networks.
