12X1ge Muxplexer with 2- Xge SFP+ Trunk

Overview

OnAccess 8114 Muxplexer transport 12 separate Gigabit Ethernet data streams into two XGE SFP+ based trunk port. Two XGE fiber links support automatic protect switch and switch-over time is less than 50ms.

This solution provides significant cost reduction and excellent fiber utilization when compared to discrete optical multiplexing.

OnAccess 8114 incorporates 12 SFP-based access interfaces that can accommodate various types of SFP, e.g. Multi-mode, Single-mode, Single-fiber, Dual fiber, Copper-SFP and different reach etc.

The trunk port is an SFP+ 10Gbps permitting flexible connectivity options between the muxplexers either in a WDM system or directly between local and remote devices.

Link Integrity Notification (LIN) functionality and RFD (Remote Fault Detection) is supported by OnAccess 8114.

The devices are manageable either locally by RS-232 CLI access or remotely by Web, Telnet, SNMP.
