Successful mixing at home relies on some understanding of the basic principles.

Hangsen DIY kit comes with propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) liquid. Both PG and VG can be used to dilute the strong flavor in the base liquid. VG generates more vapors, with less throat hit. PG generates more throat hit, but less vapor as it is less sticky. The advised proportion of base liquid and diluents is 30: 70, meaning to make 1ml of mixed liquid you need to put in 0.3ml of base liquid and 0.7ml of PG/VG. The strength would therefore depend on the proportion between PG and VG. If you prefer strong flavors you will want to decrease the proportion of diluents and increase the proportions of base liquid.
