Main function of the device and the basic operations
Device on and off
Normal driving modes: after the vehicle-mounted power supply is connected and the car is started the device is automatically on to record; the device is automatically off after the engine flamed out
Manual Mode: You can manually press the power button to open or close the device.

Recording Mode
When turned on, the recording automatically starts; press Ok key to stop and restart recording.
Loop record: when TF is full, the unprotected files will be automatically covered.
Emergency file protection: the device has a gravity sensor device. When the vehicle is in a certain degree of vibration, the device will protect the current recoding automatically, so as to avoid being covered. Meanwhile, the file for protection is named as SOS_XXXX. avi for distinction.
Manual protection:In addition to automatic protection mechanism, the device also provides a manual protection mechanism. In recording process, if the customer thinks the current recording needs protecting, please press SOS emergency key for manual protection. Press again,the current file protection will be canceled.
Automatic Screen off function: the device will automatically shut down the LCD backlight after working for 3 seconds, press any key and the backlight will be on again. The start of this function can be set in the system menu.

Note: Gravity sensor sensitivity can be set in the system menu.

Photo mode:
In the recording mode, press the Mode key once into the camera mode; press camera/ video key to take a photo. Press Up and Down for digital zoom. Enter into the main menu, choose the image mode, and set multiple mode selections of image resolution, AWB, light sensitivity, special effect and so on.

Playback mode
In the playback mode, press menu to perform the three following operations: volume adjustment, file delete, file protection and un-protection.
Playback mode is divided into AVI playback and photo playback. In the record mode, press Mode key twice to AVI playback, press it again to photo playback.

GPS function (through HDMI interface,GPS module selection)
The device is equipped with GPS positioning module for synchronously recording the complete driving track information by the user.
When GPS is not successful, GRS information displayed on the screen is red and turned into green when it's successful. At the same time, the current latitude and longitude as well as the number of positioning satellites are displayed.
The player in the CD is used for playing video, as well as synchronically displaying the whole driving track and current position. The player can be used for Baidu / Google map switching.
It is suggested that the Baidu map is used in the mainland, others for Google map, so as to achieve better accuracy.

Note: The device does not support A-GPS function. The top of the device cannot be blocked by the buildings. In the underground car park and indoor environments, GPS positioning will not be available.

Shortcut Function:
In the recording mode, press the Menu key to manually protect (unprotect) the current video.
Press "up" key can shut off the voice recording function of the current video recording file.
Press Down key to close the display backlight.
