Mini Displayport to DVI-D, HDMI or Displayport Adapter (M-F)

This is a cost effective solution for adapting your new Mini-DisplayPort equipped Mac laptop or any other source / player using the mini-Displayport interface to your current DVI-D, HDMI or Displayport display.

Mostly used on ATi HD5970, HD5850X2, HD5870X2 / Apple new notebooks - MacBook, MacBook PRO, MacBook Air, iMac, Powerbook G4.

Mini-DisplayPort is a miniaturized version of DisplayPort, the newest digital display interface developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). We have a collection of Mini-DP adapters that will allow you to connect your new laptop to the widely used current standards of VGA, DVI or HDMI. Please note when using this adapter that only 1 output port can be active / connected at a time to a display.

Max Supported Resolution - 1920X1080p, 12-bits / channel, or 12*3 = 36bits on all channels.

*NOTE* ATI Eyefinity: You will need an active mini-displayport adapter which is USB powered for ATI Eyefinity Graphics cards since this passive / cable adapter will not work for ATI Eyefinity. It works with any mini-displayport MacBook and ATI cards with mini-DP that is not Eyefinity enabled and any device that can send a HDMI signal via the mini-Displayport port.

*NOTE* AUDIO: This adapter will support audio only on HDMI or DP output if your source device allows audio output through the Mini DisplayPorts interface. If you're not sure, please check with the manufacturer or website, to confirm if your device allows audio out through the Mini-DP interface.
