6. Installation
Step I Identify
Turn off the power, and take off the traditional old fluorescent tube from the bracket. Then, inspect and confirm what kind of ballast it is on the bracket, inductance ballast or electronic ballast.
If you cannot identify what kind of ballast it is, Please check whether there is a starter on the bracket. If there is a starter, it should be inductance ballast; Otherwise, it should be electronic ballast (see the Figure 1 above).
Step II Inductance ballast
If it is inductance ballast on the bracket, please take the starter away first( see the following Figure 2), then installed the LED fluorescent tube on the bracket.
Step III Inductance ballast
Check out whether the LED fluorescent tube has installed correctly on the bracket: The cover is supposed to be opposite to the bracket and the aluminum side faces to the bracket (see Figure 3)
Step IV Inductance ballast
Check again whether the starter has been taken away. If so, turn on the power, then the LED tube light will illuminate. If the LED tube cannot illuminate, please recheck it following step I~III
Step V Electronic ballast
If it is electronic ballast on the bracket, please take the electronic ballast away first. Then connect the live /neutral power cable with the connectors on both ends of the tube holders. Please refer to Figure 5, for the connection of electronic ballast. After taking the electronic ballast off, the connection method please refer to Figure 5.
Step VI Electronic ballast
After connecting power cable in the bracket, please check again following step III and step IV.
