1Usage
1.1Power for the card reader
Short buzzer will sound when the reader is powered on, shows the acces control card reader system can normal to run.

1.2Card reader configuration
Via the card dispenser to make a configuration card, swiping the configuration card on the card reader to configure the reader to read the information such as the file content and key authentication, after the success of the configuration, the card reader will use the designated key to read designated card file data.

1.3Work model
The access control card reader buzzer will have a shot sound when the Valid DESFIRE EV1 card swiping on the card reader, green LED will blink, and will upload the read data by wiegand way at the same time.
When the Invalid (uninitialized or key is not correct)DESFIRE EV1 card swiping on the card reader, the reader can automatically identify illegal card, buzzer and LED lights have no response.


1.4Buzzer, indicator light showing in contro
When the buzzer and indicator light are controlled by the access controller, and the input voltage low the common levels, the indicator will light green and the buzzer will sound.

2. Installation Notes
Please read the following notice carefully before installing:

1. When install/remove, please shut off the power first;

2. The largest readong distance is in non-interference environment, card reader installed in the correct manner, and the card is parallel to the surface of the card reader, any electromagnetic interference environment will affect the reading distance;

3. Please do not install the card reader on the magnetic and metal surfaces, magnetic, metal material will seriously affect the radio frequency signal;

4. Please do not install the card reader near the produce electromagnetic devices, such as: Motor, AC/DC converters, UPS, relay, monitor, etc.;

5suggest that wiring line pay attention to the strong, the weak current separately go, the distance between the two lines should be more than 20 cm. The power supply line should be the strong enough.

6. If want to power the reader lonely, please connect the GND of the card reader to power supply (GND) to ensure that the card reader data output is normal;
Musn't power the product the higher voltage than the rated voltage range, if the long-term use of more than 12 v dc voltage or accidentally connect ac power, may lead to circuit burned inside the product, shorten the service life or product performance degradation and instability.


Root key: Equivalent to door key of the card, and only after verifying the operation for the card such as to establish the file structure for the card and so on, the card factory default root keys are all 0;
Wiggins digits: Card reader wiggins output digits, can support 3 bytes ~ 32 bytes output, namely wiggins 26 ~ wiggins 258
Output;
Application ID: Directory address that stored by files;
File ID: Under each directory will pre-built four files in default, each file size is 32 bytes, file number 1 ~ 4, respectively;
Key ID: Each file has three key, are read, write and read/write respectively, different key has different operation authority
Tamper: Whether the have the functionto open tamper detection;
"Read the card number", "timming mark: Used for card reader with LCD function configuration.
