Wireless connection setting approach
Shortly press Mode key to see the indicator light just flashes twice; Pull the switch to ON, after the indicator light flashes, click the search button W and immediately click QSS/Reset button of the router for automatic connection which generally takes 20-80 seconds to be successful. If this doesn't work, do the operation again. Then turn on the computer IPS search tool to query; Double-click the queried domain name information to enter the monitoring interface; Click Connect and enter the password admin and it will work. When operating the Query, check whether the device IP 192.168.1 is consistent with local IP segment; If not, click domain name information and Modification and The Same With The Computer to modify.
For devices without Mode switch, 1 minute after connecting the power supply, press the button, and then press QSS1/RESET key of the router for wireless connection which lasts for 20-80 seconds. Then operate in the same way as above.
After connection, you can use the client side on the computer to add devices and domain names to watch in the LAN and the WAN.
Mobile phones and tablets can use the client side to add device by scanning the two-dimension code of the device. By only clicking the device name, you can watch live video or set the alarm, memory and other functions.
Point-to-point approach
Quickly press the M key, and the indicator light only flash for once; Pull the switch to ON, and after the light flashes, open the WiFi in the phone settings for searching; Click the Wifi name IPCAM-APxxxxxxxx that has been searched out to connect with the password as 8888888. After successful connection, open the client-side software and click Search, click the Wifi name in black letters of the device that has been searched out and click Live Video to watch (the red words refers to remote outer net).
If there is no key, the device needs to be connected to the computer for setting. Select AP mode in WiFi Settings of the Camera Settings, then click Apply, and click System Management; Reboot the device and enter the AP mode; Then operate by mobile phone in the same way as above.
Approach for connection settings via bonding mobile phones
Directly use a mobile phone for setting. Pre-set the device in AP point-to-point mode (for devices with mode key, click M, the red light will flash for once, then pull the switch to On. After the indicator light flashes, the device enters AP mode); Open the wifi search device domain name in the phone settings, and click the domain name to connect, with the password as 12345678. After the connection, open the YZ client side of the phone, and click Search; Click the new domain name that has been searched out, and click Camera Settings, then Click Wifi Settings to select STA (router) mode; Click Search to find local router Wifi name, then enter the corresponding password, click Ok. The device reboot to enter into the router mode. For devices with the mode switch, click M key to reboot; After the indicator light flashes twice, it will be router mode after rebooting; The device will automatically be connected to wireless router. No need to set in computer.
Approach for direct video recording
Press the M key for 3 seconds and the indicator light keeps flashing; Pull the switch to ON and the indicator light keeps flashing, it starts to record. When there are only 200M capacity left for memory card, the earliest file will be deleted and start cycle recoding. When playing the video, remove the memory card and connect it to the computer, then open the playing software of the client side to play or convert the video files into AVI format to play.
