System Components
1. Solar Cell
a. The solar cell is used to directly transform the sunlight into the
electricity by utilizing PN junctions and the solar photovoltaic effect of
semiconductors as silicon.
b. Single or multiple crystalline silicon solar cells with high conversion
efficiency are optional to achieve different required effects.
c. The materials should be with good adhesion to the glass and excellent
compressive capacity. The high-quality toughened glass possesses favorable
translucence.
2. Gel Battery
a. The gel battery of this ZT-RK-15A/24V solar LED road lamp is structurally
sealed and composed of electro-hydraulic gel, without any leakage.
b. There is no acid mist or pollution produced during charge and discharge. It
comes with a high capacity 10% to 20% more than that of same-level lead-acid
batteries.
c. It has excellent charge acceptance and little self discharge, durable for
storage.
d. It possesses excellent over-discharge recovery performance and good
performance under low temperature. It can still normally work in a high
temperature of 65°C or more.
e. It has a long service life and can be recycled.
3. Controller
a. The controller of this ZT-RK-15A/24V solar LED street light adopts the
imported high-performance microprocessor chips, which enables the intelligent
control of solar-powered road lamps and other solar-powered systems.
b. It is provided with multi-loop feedback control which offers over-charging,
over-discharging, over-voltage, over-load and short circuit protection as well
as inverse connection protection during charging.
c. It offers two working modes for options and better adaptation.
d. By applying the MPPT maximum power tracking mode, it can fully utilize the
solar energy.
e. The running status indicator accurately controls charge and discharge, and
offers visual and intelligible display.
