3528 SMD LEDs as light source.Epistar chip. Rather bright and single LED can reach 4~6 lm.Light decay at about 7% at 2000 hrs, much lower than DIP LED.SMD LEDs can be mounted by machine to reduce labor cost, as well as ensure good soldering.Another advantage to use SMD LEDs is that, SMD LEDs can be mounted on aluminium PCB panel.
Aluminum metal printed circuit board beneath the LEDs.Much better heat-dissipation. Also, much better EMC data, which is a major directive in CE regulation.A revolution change compared to the ABS materials used by many other suppliers.
Aluminum material used for housing. Again, better heat-dissipation and better EMC data, compared to the normal PVC materials.This aluminum housing provides slots for firmly fixing PCB and tube cover.PCB of tubes from some suppliers are just “floating” in the cover. Wires easily be cut.
Transparent cover optional for bright light. Frosted / dimmed cover available for bright, even and soft light.
High efficiency LED driver. Efficiency above 85%. Power factor above 0.8
Safety concerns. LED driver will be put into full insulation protector then into housing.Many other suppliers just make the LED drivers directly contact with tube housing (aluminum or PVC) without any insulation protector, which is dangerous when the driver fails.
